I’m….extremely underwhelmed. If anyone wants to see a really good Edgar Allan Poe based film I cannot recommend Stuart Gordon’s ‘The Black Cat’ with Jeffrey Combs turning in an excellent performance enough. Something about having a bi-polar alcoholic writer becoming a crime fighter in the American Victorian era just doesn’t sit well with me. This could just be me though.
